Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak: ‘It’s time to recognize the right to repair’
Macintosh (AAPL) fellow benefactor Steve Wozniak, known in the tech world by his moniker, stood up on the issue during a new appearance on Cameo, a site that allows fans to pay famous people for video messages. In a post to Louis Rossmann, a YouTube character and an option to-fix advocate, Wozniak said that he was "absolutely steady" of the reason — which gives buyers the right and data to fix their own gadgets — and to some degree "inwardly" influenced by it. "I do a ton of Cameos, yet this one has truly gotten to me," he said in the nine-minute video. "We wouldn't have had an Apple had I not experienced childhood in an exceptionally open innovation world."
